Flipping Giving Tuesday
For the last three weeks, we have bombarded you with lots of concerning statistics about the efficacy of youth ministry in the church:
- Seventy-percent of youth group alumni in America do not return to church after high school. That means the way churches do youth ministry has a thirty-percent success rate.
- Seventy-nine percent of Christian college students reported that they experienced decline in their spiritual life in college. Only 21% experienced spiritual growth.
- Only one third of youth group alumni can accurately define the Gospel.
As you well know by now, Rooted is working to flip those statistics. Imagine the impact!
You and I know the necessity, hope, and joy of a relationship with Christ. We also know that Christ came into our lives through a person. A parent, a youth worker, or a friend introduced us to Christ and helped us mature spiritually. Rooted believes that the most effective way to help as many children as possible know and grow in Christ is to invest in the people who spiritually influence kids – YOU!
TODAY is the final day of our “Flip the Statistic” campaign. Please join the movement and help us to continue to expand our programs and reach in 2018 by making a gift of any size. For today, your gift will go twice as far; we have a generous donor who has agreed to match all gifts up to $10,000! Click here to make a contribution.
Last but certainly not least, we want to thank all of you who have given of your time and resources to Rooted Ministry this past year. As a show of our gratitude, we are flipping giving Tuesday around and gifting YOU all of the plenaries from Rooted 2017 at one time. Tonight at MIDNIGHT our blog feed will blow up with our Gospel of Hope talks from Scott Sauls, Jen Wilkin, Jason Cook, Julius Kim, Dave Wright, and Mark Upton.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
