HTH: Becoming a Teller of Your Story
Story-telling is one of the more powerful tools we have to offer in our ministries. Often, in ministry, we don’t slow down enough to consider what’s happening in our own lives as we care for the lives of others. In this quick 20-minute podcast, Neal Salzman of the Rest Initiative and Rooted’s own Liz Edrington discuss the value and importance of becoming a teller of our own stories and the potential impact that can have in our lives and relationships.
Liz Edrington serves as the Fellowship Groups and Young Adults Director at North Shore Fellowship in Chattanooga, TN. She received her M.A. in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, FL, and she has worked with students in one form or another since 2002. She’s served on the Rooted Steering Committee since 2010 and authored a chapter in Gospel-Centered Youth Ministry: A Practical Guide. She’s delighted to live at the base of a mountain with her golden retriever, Bo Diddley, and she finds joy in tasting new things.
