HTH: The Redemptive Parenting Podcast
Rooted writer and Steering Committee member Kristen Hatton and her husband, pastor Pete Hatton, have a new podcast! The Redemptive Parenting Podcast is designed to encourage and equip parents with godly wisdom and hope in the gospel for their everyday lives.
Kristen and Pete have two teens and one young adult of their own, so they are experienced, reliable guides in the difficult task of shepherding teenage hearts. In this first season, they define redemptive parenting and how the gospel has informed the raising of their children. In this first season of the podcast, Kristen and Pete will explain key terms and concepts such as law, grace, sin, and gospel, and how these ideas can help parents better understand God and His goodness towards our families.
The Redemptive Parenting Podcast falls under the ministry of Redemptive Parenting that Kristen started late last year with the mission of rooting parents in gospel truth. Currently, Redemptive Parenting is an online platform engaging parents through Instagram, and connecting them to gospel-centered resources through the website www.redemptiveparenting.org. In the future, Kristen hopes to add counseling services, parenting workshops, and additional resources under the Redemptive Parenting umbrella.
