Registration is Open: The Rooted Conference is for Parents Too!
Join us in Birmingham, Alabama on October 7-9 for Rooted 2021!
Though we began as a ministry for youth pastors, Rooted has always been keenly aware that parents are the primary disciplers of their own children. God is glorified and teenagers are well-loved when parents and youth pastors work together to teach them to walk with Christ. Our blog, our podcasts, and our conference all serve parents too!
Bringing parents and youth ministers together in the gospel, Rooted 2021 will offer worship and workshops, plenary talks and fellowship, all centered on our theme, the Promises of God:
A rainbow arched across a glistening sky, proclaiming God’s promise never to destroy the earth. A baby named laughter snuggled in his elderly mother’s arms, fulfilling God’s promise to give Abraham and Sarah a son. A good and broad land flowing with milk and honey, making good on God’s promise to abundantly meet Israel’s needs. An empty tomb, accomplishing God’s promise to atone for our sins and restore us to abundant life. A new heavens and a new earth, manifesting God’s promise to dwell forever with His people.
Featured speakers include Dr. Russell Moore, Trillia Newbell, Stephen Um, Tish Harrison Warren, Sedrick Moore, and our own Cameron Cole and Davis Lacey.
For all the need- to-know details on registration and accommodations, see our website. Sign up now for best pricing, and check back often as workshops are added. There will be gospel-centered Bible-saturated content for parents and youth pastors – anyone who disciples youth – so you may want to bring a group from your church! You will enjoy a good dose of southern hospitality in what locals affectionately call “The Magic City.”
Now more than ever, when there seems to be no solid ground beneath our feet, we stand on the promises of God. In Christ we receive a new heart and a new spirit, becoming citizens of a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Join us at Rooted 2021 as we celebrate the One whose promises to us are trustworthy and true: For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV)
