Rooted 2017: Gospel of Hope

Share:

The teen years are difficult. And ministering to youth — as a parent or a youth pastor — isn’t exactly a piece of cake either (to say the least).

Life is hard! What keeps us going? Hope.

Hope is what strengthens us when we are worn out in ministry and in parenting. It gives substance to our joy and meaning to our trials. It points us again and again to grace through faith as we rest in the finished work of Jesus.

Join us as we celebrate and ponder the good news of hope offered to us in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that it will strengthen and deepen your walk with the Lord and your ministry to youth. DISCOUNTED EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 1, SO REGISTER TODAY!

Speakers and Workshops
We have an incredible line-up of speakers and workshops for Rooted 2017. In addition to the dynamic and engaging workshops we always offer to youth ministers, we have added a number of amazing workshops specifically for parents.

Youth ministers, this is a great opportunity to not only bring along your youth volunteers, but also the parents of your students!

Pre- Conference
For the first time ever, we are offering a pre-conference specifically designed for those NEW to youth ministry. The pre-conference will take place on October 26 from 1-3 p.m. at Highland Park Presbyterian, for an additional cost of $35.  The pre-conference talks include:

  • Teaching the Bible to Youth, Justin Pillsbury
  • Understanding What Teenagers Believe (and the Gospel’s Response), Mike McGarry
  • The Most Important Goal in Your First Year of Youth Ministry, Cameron Cole
  • Five Pillars of Effective Youth Ministry, Kris Fernhout
